ClariS is a Japanese pop music singing duo composed of Clara and Alice, two high school students who initially performed in videos uploaded in the video uploading site Nico Nico Douga.
ClariS' online fame spread with their renditions of Vocaloid hits and anime theme songs, and they eventually signed with SME Records, releasing their singles "Irony", used in the anime series Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai, and "Connect", which becomes the opening theme song of Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
