Chapter 1[]
Ayase asks Kyousuke to go on a date shortly after they started dating.
When they meet at the main station, Ayase says it's their third date. Her statement puzzles Kyousuke, who wonders whether their former meetings counted as dates or not, and something he has read in magazines says "Couples will kiss on their third date". Ayase feels embarrassed when hearing from Kyousuke.
After watching a romantic movie in a cinema, the couple goes to a restaurant Ayase usually visits and decides to start planning their future dates.
During the planning, Kyousuke says he wants to watch Ayase wearing a swimming suit. Initially, Kyousuke believes Ayase will kick him as usual. But beyond his expectation, Ayase blushes and softly agrees to his request. They later decided to choose a swimsuit for tomorrow and go to a beach the day after tomorrow.
"After becoming a couple, Ayase is not too angry when I sexual harass her" Kyousuke thinks, despite he feels a little anxious. With the anxiety, Kyousuke asks Ayase to have an onsen after enjoying the beach. Ayase finally slaps and yells to Kyousuke that she's too young to go out for a night --- the reaction Kyousuke has always been longing for.
To apologise for making Ayase angry, Kyousuke says he's willing to accept any wishes Ayase asks. Ayase, however, asks Kyousuke to set surveillance cameras in his room, much to his surprise. After a small fight when Kyousuke refuses Ayase's wish, they go to a fortune telling shop to have a topic on "foreseeing future".
The fortune teller draws the future she foresees. When the fortune teller foresees their future family, however, foresees Kyousuke will die in near future at first, which angers Ayase and scares Kyousuke. In the second fortune telling, the fortune teller draws a cute girl, stating that it's the couple's daughter. The couple finally leaves happily, but the rain has started, forcing them to run to the park they usually meet.
Before leaving the park, Ayase kisses Kyousuke.
Chapter 2[]
"So it's a lie... It's all a lie! You traitor! I will never forgive you! EVER!"
Kyousuke was killed by Ayase... in his dream. It doesn't help that Ayase, who besides him, tries to make a wake-up call to please him. Instead, the "wake-up call" frightens him deeper after the nightmare. At the time, Kyousuke swears his mind that he will never betray Ayase and provoke any relationship crisis.
They meet at Chiba to buy Ayase's swimsuit. Kyousuke, who admires Ayase's reliable personality, complains if Kirino can be more like her.
"...In terms of a girlfriend?" Ayase quickly asks.
- Yes
- Deny naturally.
- Deny strongly.
"No. It's in terms of a travel partner. Don't get me wrong." Kyousuke denies it naturally but senses murder before answering. And Ayase answers that Kirino's "annoying" actions may be the act of being cute to her brother.
They finally visit the swimsuit shop and Kyousuke is looking around for male classmates who can show off his new girlfriend. Coincidentally, they meet Kouhei Akagi -- the best one to show off... at first: When Kyousuke says he's choosing Ayase's swimsuit to Akagi, Akagi responds that he's choosing his sister's swimsuit, making Kyousuke feels lost. Kyousuke tries to save his face about his sister by inviting Kirino to swim, but Kirino quickly refuses. Ayase finally comments on the whole farce, that she's still in love with him despite knowing he's the kind of person.
Ayase remains her final decision on a swimsuit to Kyousuke in the day. The answer to her decision on swimsuit revels on the next day -- a white bikini, which makes Kyousuke more excited. When the couple is on the beach, Kyousuke decides to go swimming, and Ayase asks to have a swimming match. Kyousuke agrees and proposes that the loser buys ice cream for the winner.
Kyousuke loses the match. Ayase says that she usually goes swimming with Kirino and Kyousuke quickly understands why he loses Ayase.
Back on the beach, the couple meets Kanako, who's finding her ideal boyfriend. Ayase has a long chat with Kanako about the boyfriend she makes. And Kyousuke, who's buying ice cream for the girls, wiretaps the chat. Ayase finally asks Kanako, "When should my first time be?" Knowing Ayase is unsure about her options when she's a girlfriend, Kanako, to Kyousuke's surprise, suggests that she should do that after graduating from high school.
After the suggestion, Kanako greets Kyousuke and addresses his last name. Quickly Ayase asks Kanako to address her boyfriend with Kousaka -- the last name Kyousuke and Kirino share. Therefore, Kanako knows that Kyousuke and Ayase are dating.
Kanako promises the couple that she will keep the secret from Kirino, and asks Kyousuke to treat her best friend good, with Kyousuke's sincere promise.
Chapter 3[]
Kanako goes to the Kousaka house to meet Kyousuke, much to Kyousuke and Kirino's surprise. She quickly confesses her love to Kyousuke and asks him for a date that Kyousuke cannot refuse for a day. Before Kyousuke goes out, Kirino yells at Kanako, stating that she refuses any dates with Kyousuke without her permission. Noticing Kirino rejects her without any reasonable reasons, Kanako suggests to Kirino that she should express her true feelings.
Kirino asks Kanako how to express true feelings, and Kanako reveals that Ayase has a boyfriend and mocks her showing off -- the way Kanako express her anger. Kyousuke then understands the reason she asks him out: to surpass Ayase in terms of a couple.
After going out, Kyousuke asks about the motivation behind Kanako's action. Kanako answers that she believes the whole situation will not ends up being what she likes, and she's therefore coming to change the process.
In the night, Kirino asks Kyousuke to have a life consultation. Kyousuke wonders whether the topic is about Kanako's confession or Ayase's boyfriend. To Kyousuke's surprise, it's about her hobby: Ayase asks her to go to Akihabara tomorrow. She believes Ayase wants to go to more hardcore places but feels upset when choosing a suitable one.
Kirino says she just wants Ayase to admit her hobby and doesn't want Ayase to push herself too hard. Hearing this, Kyousuke says he believes that Ayase is very afraid of her friend being taken by her unfamiliar friend with the unfamiliar hobby. Hearing Kyousuke's response, Kirino says she's willing to share her feeling with Ayase and asks Kyousuke to follow them just in case. After reporting the situation to Ayase, Kyousuke has prepared for the girls' date tomorrow.
The date starts at an electric shop. After that, they go to a weapon shop and an anime shop. Both the people have a pleasant morning. The pleasant atmosphere changed when they have lunch: During lunch, after confirming Ayase's relationship, Kirino reveals that she has someone who cared, without knowing the type of feeling. Ayase seems upset and cannot answer when hearing this.
Kirino and Kyousuke have a life consultation after the date -- as expected, it's about Ayase. When Kyousuke asks about the one Kirino loves -- or rather, cares -- the consultation was frozen. Kirino says she will find some other people to consult.
Kirino had never answered about the one she cares.
Chapter 4[]
The next day, Kyousuke asks to cancel the date with Ayase in the park, after telling her about the consultation last night. After discussions, they decide to reveal their status to Kirino.
"--You don't have to do it. I already know that." Kirino says she knows the truth from her best friend. It reveals that the "friend" who tells Kirino the truth is Yamineko, who confesses her love to Kyousuke.
"Convince her if you can." Yamineko hangs up after confessing her love to Kyousuke.
It is the last conversation to decide their fate -- says Kyousuke himself when he senses the position.
"Firstly let me confirm this -- are you truly dating? I mean, it's not possible between you and her. Is this kind of prank?" Kirino asks Kyousuke, hoping their confession is just a lie.
Kyousuke--
- Says the truth.
Says nothing.
"It's not a prank. I am dating with Ayase."
Confirming from Kyousuke, Kirino tries to ask Ayase, but her answer is the same.
Kirino asks Kyousuke when their dating has started. When hearing that they have started dating from Summer Comiket, Kirino becomes more anxious. Tensions of the conversation thus have risen.
Kirino asks if the rustic girl knows it. To convince her, Ayase lends Kirino her phone to make her ask Manami. Manami tells some secrets to Kirino and says she's always supported Kyousuke before hanging up.
The tension continues to increase. Kirino yells that they should not date. Hearing this, Ayase talks back, and asks the reason why they shouldn't.
Finally, Kirino cries, confessing her love to Kyousuke, and she will not give Kyousuke to anyone.
"Any comments?" Kirino asks Kyousuke, who's trying to say something.
- My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute.
Break up with Ayase.
"Well, I can feel the same thing -- I love you, Kirino!"
"What!?" Both Kirino and Ayase are frightened of what Kyousuke says.
"I love you, that I cannot live without you, and I don't want you get snatched from me by anyone! I want to marry you rather than that!" Says Kyousuke, "-- And that's what I feel about Ayase. No matter what you try to say, I will never break up with her."
"OK, OK," says Kirino, "Since you say this so, I will not prevent you. Do you love him, Ayase?"
"Yes. Like how I love you." Says Ayase, the highest love confession from her.
"OK. I will not prevent you since I am still Kyousuke's best sister, and Ayase's best friend."
"Thank you, Kirino."
"And, one more thing." Kirino asks Kyousuke, "What would you do, if I am not your sister...?"
"Well, guess it's pretty much the same thing happened now." Kyousuke answers.
Epilogue[]
After years, Kyousuke and Ayase have finally married, and Ayase is now pregnant. She also reveals that the baby is a girl.
Kyousuke is still a pervert, a fool, a lech -- yet, a gentle Ayase still loves. He decides to marry Ayase after entering a local company.
And now, Kirino will stay in Japan for a while. They start arguing about who's the one to see Ayase's child first.
At first, Ayase would see this as jealousy. But now, she sees this as happiness.
It's the day Kyousuke visits his daughter, Chitose Kousaka, in her elementary school. Her teacher is Tamaki Gokou. And, to see and capture her niece, Kirino costs 2.5 million to buy a movie camera.
The visit is not going well since Kirino interrupts it rudely by photographing Chitose. Chitose scolds her behaviour, making Kirino cry.
Seeing the daughter doesn't like her aunt, Kyousuke asks the reason why Chitose hates Kirino to Ayase. Ayase replies that Chitose almost forget Kirino after she went to foreign countries, and sees Kirino as her father's adulterer.
"The one who is going to marry my father is me" -- says Ayase who's imitating Chitose.
"-- But I know you love me anyway." Ayase says.
Kyousuke still loves his family despite years passed. In the end, Kyousuke ends with his hope, that his daughter can have a beautiful encounter like her father.
