Siscalypse

Shin Imouto Taisen Siscalypse (真妹大殲シスカリプス, True Little Sister War Siscalypse), also known as Siscaly (シスカリ, Shisukari), is a fictional fighting game featured in the Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai series.

A game based on Siscaly was eventually released on January 20, 2011.

Features

The original Siscalypse game is a fighting game which has two modes: Story Mode and Arcade Mode. Story Mode focuses on the player taking the role of one of many characters. The player is required to fight and defeat all of the characters in order to complete the story, while the player learns about the character he/she chooses to control; characters might also be unlocked when Story Mode is completed. Arcade Mode, on the other hand, involves fighting either another human-controlled player or an AI-controlled opponent, with the time set on a certain duration or at infinite. The goal in Arcade Mode is to deplete the opponent's hit points before the time limit runs out.

The adaptation of Siscalypse also shares similarities with the original game. However, it introduces a pointing system in which players can accumulate points by winning battles. These points can be used to unlock content, including new characters to use, additional moves for certain characters, and access to events which can award prizes to the winner.

Development

After the success of the Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai anime series, Kadokawa Contents Gate releases a game based on the game featured in the anime series on January 20, 2011. The game is available to Yahoo! Japan ID and MobaGe ID users for free, with additional content planned to be charged in the future.

Compared to the original, the fighting game will have social interaction elements integrated, and points can be collected from winning games.
